- Commodity name: IGBT Medium Frequency Melting Furnace
In core industrial fields such as metallurgy, casting and alloy manufacturing, the performance of melting equipment directly determines product quality and production efficiency. The IGBT medium-frequency power melting furnace breaks through the bottlenecks of traditional melting with technological innovations. As a medium-frequency induction melting device adopting IGBT modules as inverter components, it has become the preferred equipment in metal melting scenarios by virtue of its core advantages of high efficiency, energy saving, precise temperature control, and stable reliability.
Working Principle
The 3-phase alternating current is converted into medium frequency pulse current via an IGBT inverter, which is then transmitted to the melting furnace’s induction coils. The coils generate an alternating magnetic field that induces eddy currents within the metal inside the furnace. This causes the metal to heat up and melt rapidly.
