Vacuum Induction Gas Atomization Equipment (VIGA)

Vacuum atomization powder production equipment relies on the core aerodynamics design, molten metal is poured into a preheating tundish under vacuum or inert gas protection, and then regulated through a flow guide tube with a certain aperture diameter into a high-pressure inert gas atomizer. High-velocity inert gas jets instantly shatter the molten metal stream into micron-sized droplets. During the deposition and cooling process, these droplets rapidly solidify into micron-scale spherical or spheroidal powder particles under the action of surface tension, which are subsequently sieved and classified to produce metal powders with various particle size distributions.
