High Pressure Water Atomization Equipment

The water atomization powder equipment relies on a core fluid dynamics design. Molten metal is poured into a preheated tundish, and then regulated through a flow guide tube with a specific aperture diameter into a high-pressure water jet atomizer. High-velocity water jets instantly shatter the molten metal stream into micron-sized droplets. These fine droplets rapidly cool and solidify into micron-scale spheroidal or irregular powder particles within the atomization tower, followed by processes such as filter-pressing for powder-water separation, drying, crushing, and sieving.
